The former homes of Coalbrookdale's Quaker Ironmasters have reopened to the public today (Monday 25th July).
Rosehill House, built in 1738, and Dale House, built in 1717, sit on the hillside overlooking Coalbrookdale. Both houses were lived in by various generations of the Darby family, and their exquisite rooms and exhibits offer an interesting glimpse into the lives of the people who shaped the modern world.
The houses will be open from 10am-5pm daily until the 11th September. Admission is included in The PASS and The PASS PLUS, with single site admission tickets available to purchase online and from the Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron.
