Victorian Christmas Weekends

Join us this winter as the festive spirit returns to Blists Hill Victorian Town for our Victorian Christmas Weekends. 

Many of the Christmas traditions we know and love today have their roots in the Victorian era, and at Blists Hill Victorian Town we can bring the fun and joy of these traditions to life in an authentic setting for an extra special experience.

The town’s streets and buildings will be filled with traditional decorations, and festive music will ring out through the air. You'll be able to peruse the wares in the town’s stores and learn about Christmas past from our costumed demonstrators.

Meet Father Christmas and his magical Christmas elves in one of his festive grottos or see if you have what it takes to be a Christmas elf at Elf School. More information coming soon

Last-minute shoppers will be able to take advantage of the Christmas Emporium to buy unique gifts including delicious foods and local-made crafts. The perfect stocking-fillers!

There are plenty of options when it’s time for a break, including delicious Christmas menus for lunch in our cosy cafes or traditional fish and chips (cooked in beef dripping!) from the town’s fryer.
