Heavy Horse Weekend

Immerse yourself in the charm of yesteryear as these magnificent giants take centre stage, showcasing their strength and grace in a series of thrilling demonstrations and activities.

Witness the impressive sight of Victorian-era carriages and carts being skilfully manoeuvred by these gentle giants, transporting you to an era where horsepower meant something entirely different!  

The sound of hooves will ring out on the cobbled streets of Blists Hill Victorian Town as teams of horses visit and demonstrate how they helped tradesmen and industrialists carry out their work. 

Enjoy the traditional crafts and interactive exhibits that bring the past to life, creating an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Set against the backdrop of Blists Hill, this weekend promises to be a delightful blend of history, entertainment and the raw beauty of Heavy Horses!
