Think teabags are just for making a cuppa? Think again!

Discover an exciting new way to make a piece of art using teabags, mixed media and hot wax under the guidance of local artist, Lindsay Pritchard, in our NEW studio at Coalport China Museum.

In this workshop you will explore composition, collage techniques, colour mixing and assemblage to create unique works of art using the humble teabag as a canvas.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities as full guidance will be given.

You are welcome to bring along your own materials, such as images, dried flowers, stamps etc.

Date: Sunday 6 April

Timings: From 11am until 3pm

Location: The Studio, Coalport China Museum

This workshop is suitable for those aged 16+.

Please arrive from 10:45am for an 11am start. All materials and refreshments will be provided and you are advised to bring your own lunch.

Aprons are provided however we recommend dressing appropriately (in older, warmer clothing and closed-toe shoes) for the workshop as you may get messy. 

Free parking and entry to the museum for all attendees.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Lindsay Pritchard ARBSA has been working as a professional artist since 2010.

Originally trained to MA level as an illustrator, Lindsay now concentrates her art practice around oil and mixed media landscape painting.

She divides her time between her Midlands-based studio and the incredible landscapes of Northern England.
