Illustration Workshop with Katy Alston

Coalport China Museum

Join us in the NEW studio at Coalport China Museum to learn from local artist and illustrator, Katy Alston, in this creative workshop inspired by shells.

You will begin by exploring ceramics in the museum that feature shell paintings before using a range of media to make drawings from life of shell specimens. You will make zines (simple folded paper leaflets) to help your composition, improve your drawing and fire your imagination! This will be a fun and varied session to develop your creative skills under Katy's close guidance.
