Chine Collé Printmaking Workshop with Jacky Fellows

Local printmaker and mixed media artist Jacky Fellows will lead this masterclass introducing you to the beautiful technique of Chine Collé in our NEW studio at Coalport China Museum.

Chine Collé is a printmaking technique where the image is transferred onto another surface.

You will have a variety of delicate papers, such as rice, tissue and music sheet papers, and bond them during printing to add colour and texture to your prints.

No experience necessary.

This workshop is suitable for those aged 16+.

Please arrive from 10:45am for an 11am start. All materials and refreshments will be provided and you are advised to bring your own lunch.

Aprons are provided however we recommend dressing appropriately (in older, warmer clothing and closed-toe shoes) for the workshop as you may get messy. 

Free parking and entry to the museum for all attendees.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Jacky Fellows is a printmaker and mixed media artist who explores themes of time, memory, nostalgia and space.

She is influenced by process and the materials she works with and is inspired by childhood memories, nature and the urban environment.

Jacky loves engaging with people and delivers printmaking workshops for children and adults alike. She is co-founder of Black Country Urban Sketchers, a group where its members' sketches tell the stories of their surroundings, the places they live and where they travel.
