Run the Ironbridge Half Marathon 2025 for IGMT

Sunday 23 March 2025

10am-1pm

Run through history and help raise funds for the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust by taking on the Ironbridge Half Marathon.

The Telford Harriers, organisers of the Ironbridge Half Marathon, have shared 20 places with the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust for runners to compete and raise money for our vital heritage conservation and education work.

We have just 20 charity places available, so sign up soon to run this spectacular half marathon route passing through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge. You will go past a number of our museums and run over the Iron Bridge itself.

This event starts and finishes in the award-winning Telford Town Park. The route is a down and up multi-surface one-lap loop that goes down the Silkin Way and past Blists Hill Museum and Coalport China Museum into the Severn Gorge. You will then follow the old Severn Valley railway line past Maws Craft Centre and the Jackfield Tile Museum.  You will cross over the iconic Iron Bridge, run through Coalbrookdale and then back up the Silkin Way to the finish line.

This 13.1 mile race is UKA approved and staged by local running club, Telford Harriers, who will help you build a training plan if needed.

All we ask is that you raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship for the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust, a registered charity. Your registration fee covers your entry fee.
