museum development officer (data & comms)
Museum Development Midlands (MDM) is seeking a Museum Development Officer (Data and Comms) to join their small team. In this role you will help MDM support Midlands museums by ensuring the programme delivers effective communications to Midlands museums, and is informed by accurate, up-to-date data.
Museum Development Midlands (MDM), funded by Arts Council England (ACE) is delivered in partnership by Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust (IGMT) and Leicestershire County Council (LCC). The MDM programme delivers opportunities for development, training and grants to museums and heritage organisations across the Midlands. We empower them to thrive, through a varied programme of support informed by the ACE Let’s Create Strategy and the Museum Accreditation Standard.
Salary: £21,851 actual (full time equivalent £27,037 per annum)
Hours: 29.5hrs per week, Monday to Thursday

front of house & retail team leader
In this role you will assist in maximising income from shop and ticket sales while maintaining excellent customer service. You will also line manage our team of Front of House and Retail Assistants, helping develop their performance and skills.
Salary: £24,046 per annum (pro-rata)
Hours: 14 hours per week, inclusive of regular weekends

Working closely with our Furnace Kitchen team, you will take the lead in creating our menu offering while effectively managing and guiding kitchen assistants.
Salary: £26,000-28,000 pa
Hours: 40 hours per week, inclusive of weekends and occasional evenings

horse technician (visitor engagement demonstrator)
As a Horse Technician at Blists Hill Victorian Town, you will be responsible for the care and welfare of heavy horses and livestock on site. You will engage and educate our visitors on the history, care and welfare of livestock through third person interpretation.
Salary: NMW/NLW
Hours: 1 day per week, to include weekends

Health & Safety Officer
We are recruiting someone to co-ordinate, support and advise managers on all aspects of Health and Safety Management. The successful candidate will establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety within the organisation are adhered to, and to ensure that disruption to the Company’s critical functions is minimised.
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours: 36.5 hours pw (some weekend and evening work may be required)
