There are three approach roads into the Ironbridge Gorge. Take the appropriate route for the museum of your choice:
- Follow 'Blists Hill Museums' to get to...
Blists Hill Victorian Town, Coalport China Museum and Tar Tunnel - Follow 'Ironbridge Museums' to get to...
Jackfield Tile Museum, Broseley Pipeworks, Museum of The Gorge and The Iron Bridge & Tollhouse - Follow 'Coalbrookdale Museums' to get to...
Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, Enginuity and Darby Houses
Most visitors choose to drive from one Museum to another. There is parking at, or near to, each of the Museum sites and car parking charges apply at all sites.
It is possible to walk from one museum to another but the geography of the Gorge means there are some steep climbs. There are also sections of the route that don't have footpaths so some road-walking is necessary.
The Ironbridge Gorge is a beautiful wooded valley and there are some lovely walks to be found here - buy a copy of our Walking Guide in all museum gift shops.
Ironbridge Park & Ride and Gorge Connect services link many of the museums and operate on many weekends during the summer holidays. For all information about these services including timetables visit https://www.telford.gov.uk/info/20174/public_transport/129/ironbridge_park_and_ride

There is a 30 minute free period to allow pick-up & drop-off.
Where possible, we offer free Blue Badge parking. Please speak to our front of house team upon arrival.
PASS PLUS holders can park in any IGMT car park for free during their daytime visit. Simply show your PASS PLUS at the front desk when you arrive at any of our sites to receive a free parking voucher. T&Cs apply.
You can pay for parking with a debit/credit card at machines on-site or online within 48 hours of your visit.
All vehicles entering these car parks will be subject to charges including motorbikes, coaches & campervans. Blue Badge holders - please ask at Front of House for how you can receive free parking when you visit.
